Vital Signs® is Canada’s most extensive community-driven data program.
Vital Signs is Canada’s most extensive community-driven data program. Spearheaded by Community Foundations of Canada and led by community foundations in Canada and around the world, Vital Signs uses local knowledge to measure the vitality of a community and support action towards improving collective quality of life. Local data gathered through the program is used to support evidence-based, locally-relevant solutions to improve the quality of life at the community level.
CVCF also plays a coordinating role in bringing the sector together, hosting gatherings for sector leadership to promote sharing of information, support for each other, and collaboration amongst organizations. CVCF also has many resources available to share.
New Vital Signs Data Hub
Comox Valley Community Foundation, together with community partners and sponsors, have launched Comox Valley’s Vital Signs Data Hub, a newly created website that centralizes over 70 regional data indicators related to our people and the environments in which we live, learn, work, and grow.
The new Vital Signs Data Hub presents 70 indicators under ten themes with more updates to follow during 2023. We encourage you to explore the Data Hub, use its resources, and share them with those around you.
Thank you to our Sponsors
We are grateful for the many local businesses and organizations that continue to embrace opportunities to help enrich life in the Comox Valley for all, specifically the sponsors whose financial contribution makes production and promotion of Comox Valley’s Vital Signs possible:
