Ways to Give

Your donation to the Comox Valley Community Foundation is a gift that gives year after year.

The Comox Valley Community Foundation works with donors from all corners of our community – individuals, families, service groups, corporations and those who choose to remain anonymous.

Through their generosity, we build a lasting legacy for the Comox Valley. Gifts of all sizes are pooled and permanently endowed. The principal of the fund is never spent and the interest earned creates a lasting source of revenue in the Comox Valley.

We continually build the fund and invest in our community, granting hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to a broad range of charitable organizations and worthy causes.

The Comox Valley Community Foundation is one of this community’s greatest strengths, allowing us to manage charitable gifts and bequests in perpetuity. This ensures that your legacy gift – of any size – grows and lives on, forever.

Whatever amount you give to CVCF will contribute to the well-being of the Comox Valley. We work to support and strengthen the charitable sector through the ongoing generosity of our donors.

A Gift in Your Will

Designating a gift to the Foundation in your will (often called a charitable bequest) is a wonderful way of creating a legacy for you and your family. You may specify a certain sum of money, a particular asset, or a portion of an estate, to be donated to the Comox Valley Community Foundation. Donors of bequests receive a substantial reduction in federal gift and estate taxes.
