Community Impact

As the charity dedicated to supporting other charities, CVCF works in partnership with donors to fund programs, services, and projects for the more than 200 registered charities and non-profit organizations in the Comox Valley. We are only limited by the will and imagination of our donors, and the groups and people we support in the community.

Our view of community is broad and inclusive – and we provide grants to the widest possible range of organizations and initiatives to reflect that perspective. Since 1996, we have returned more than $5 million to the community in the form of grants, scholarships and bursaries to over 170 local organizations and 230 students.

Over the past two years alone, CVCF has funded the following charitable organizations in our community – organizations that provide programming and services in support of children and youth, seniors, the environment, arts and culture, adults with diverse abilities, and our community’s most vulnerable residents, reaching all corners of our community from Black Creek to Hornby Island. And with your support, we can do even more.
