Crimson & Gold 2019 Gala raises in excess of $70,000
The Comox Valley Community Foundation’s Crimson & Gold Gala, presented by Odlum Brown, was a resounding success, with net revenues in excess of $70,000.
“The evening was elegant, yet fun, with delicious food and a tremendous program of silent and live auctions, music and an introduction to the impact our donors, through the Comox Valley Community Foundation, have had on our community,” said Chrissie Bowker, CVCF Board member and Chair of the Gala Committee. “We are so pleased with how this event has grown over the years and would like to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers and guests for their continued support of the Community Foundation and our Gala.”
“It is the Community Foundation’s role as stewards of this community’s capital to ensure there is lasting impact resulting from all of our donors’ gifts and our subsequent investments in charitable organizations and students,” added Matt Beckett, President of the Comox Valley Community Foundation. “As we see over and over again, the sum of small parts has a huge impact and we would like to invite interested individuals to contact us to discuss how your gift may contribute to enriching life in the Comox Valley forever.”
