About Robert Mulrooney

Robert was shown the way of small business early on in life and has turned that exposure into a key strength as an Investment Advisor. His business education began during childhood as he experienced firsthand the ups and downs of his father’s construction business. As the youngest of eight children, Robert started working as a teenager and bought his first stock at the age of 17. At 18, while his peers were working for others, he started a landscaping company that carried him through high school and much of university. At 22, he became part owner of a restaurant in London, Ontario. Today, five of his siblings are independent business owners, due in part to the guidance of their entrepreneurial father. In 1995, after studying economics at Carleton University in Ottawa and personal finance at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Robert became an Investment Advisor in Vancouver, where he still shares an office with a fellow advisor. In 2005, he moved to the Comox Valley with his wife and established the Mindset Wealth office in Courtenay.
